Nature Laboratory
By 2021 we need a quality nature laboratory where our young adults and community will come in site to learn about nature and also
improve their knowledge based on scientific methodology on solving their community problems at local level to achieve development they want.
Nature Laboratory will use simplified methodologies to help and support its clients to achieve the basic target of Mikoko Development Foundation.
Mangrove Rehabilitation Project
In 2020 we focus to rehablitate about 1,000 Acres of mangroves in Tanzania that will secure
our marine ecosystem this will be done through our best partnership program of Mikoko Volunteers
this program allow your corporate staff to get engaged and involved in the project by planting the number of mangroves estimated and located per
site that your company will be interested to engage and join hands with Mikoko Development Foundation.
Nature Library
Nature Library sound always like a nature that immerse people to nature and bring our community back to understand, love, care, respect
and protect our nature for the aim of creating green habitable Tanzania, the library serves all people who want to learn about conservation
of nature and strengthern about environmental education through community members and young adults who are interested to visit the center for
educational purposes.
Camping & Training
Mikoko Development Foundation through Mikoko Nature Campsite is committed to train young community to understand in broaden about effective use
of natural resources in relation to sustainable development of the community. We need $80,000 to help publish our newsletter, purchase training
resources, build a nature class facilities, purchasing camp facilities and funds to run camps and training sessions to more than 50,000 youth in 2020.
Project Wildlife
This project is based on promoting conservation of biodiversity and natural ecosystem to help sustainable generation of species. The program is designed to
support kids and young adults and bring them to the real world of understanding impacts of human activities to nature and general concept about human nature conflict.
Mangrove Nature Trails
At any nature place learning facilities are really needed this project is developed to minimize the risk of biodiversity loss into a productive
style of which the incoming population of human communities never affect marine ecosystem or with a very minimal risk at all. 452 km2 of nature trail is needed to
allow contact between mangrove forest and visitors (largely youth) project cost $68,782.6.
Mikoko Educators Workshop
This program target mainly youth around community, teachers, lectures example academic institutions who are really interested in learning
facts about conservation of marine ecosystem, it is too difficult to afford the program cost of $54,347.91 as we need to have budget to accommodate about 1,500
youth educators and leaders for 2022/2023.
