All the programs are organized and well reported to Local Government Authorities (LGA) for the aim of evaluating how the program conributed to community development

This is the very beautiful opportunity offered by Mikoko Development Foundation through its activities that have been demonstrated to the community around marine and terrestrial ecosystem. Currently volunteers are only being placed in Dodoma, Iringa, Pwani, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Tanga, Morogoro, Mbeya and Dar es Salaam Regions. Volunteer placement occurs twice per year in January/February and June/July. Volunteer positions are for a minimum of six weeks. Shorter term placements are not being considered through. Depending on volunteer skills and experience, key responsibilities available at Internship Program, for short term volunteer position available at Exchange Programs and Nature & Environmental Youth Camp Also at International Nature & Environmental Youth Camp.

There are mainly two types of camping we are conducting once a year for each1. Nature & Environmental Youth Camp and 2. International Nature & Environmental Youth Camp.

District, Regional and National Nature & Environmental Youth Camps are organized at District, Regional and National Levels where by Mikoko District Regional Coordinators are responsible volunteers towards organize these camps at their area of operation under the supervision of MDF - HQ

International Nature & Environmental Youth Camp this organized once a year which invites youth accross the global through their embassies to participate at this exiting camp organized by Mikoko Development Foundation

Mikoko Volunteers give chance to global youth community to visit Tanzania for 11 Nights and 12 Noon Program that allows them to be connected with local youth communities as the program organized between Adult Coordinator of Tanzania and Adult at a respective country of a youth group

This is a very unique program that cost only $740 per participant which allows them to become active in interculture activities as well as eco-tourism programs

Limit number per group of participant is 25 youth per group if the number will exceed there will be grouped into a second group. All youth must make sure they adhere our Mikoko Development Foundation - Child Protection Policy and for the Group Leaders must make sure they submitt Parents consent as well as Group Leaders Signed Paper located at the end of our Child Protection Policy

This policy is applicable to all Mikoko Development Foundation Youth Programs and Activities

Mikoko Development Foundation is seekin to have learning and inspirational learning facilities on improving science and technology as the core tool towards sustainable development.

Creativity and Innovation have been core part in our history millestone and we have been following national strategy on developing new techniques on supporting young adults and kids aged between 5 and 26 of age.

Our volunteers are capable of supporting youth towards learning science through environment this help youth to increase the level of understanding during their classes to the following subjects Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language, Physics with high abilit of creativity and innovation.

This program aims to attract young adults to love and increase their interest of learning and peform with high ability of investment in science subjects.

We have 250 local trainers and we will each year increase the team towards achieve the common goal in cooperation with key stakeholders including schools, volunteers and program supporters.

Mikoko Development Foundation through national volunteer network we are supporting local young adults through award winning program, this allows our young adults to know how to think and not what to think, that allows them to become problem solvers.

In making this happen series of session have been organized and each participant suppose to achieve 35 sessons including indoor lectures and outdoor activities to complere the program. Young Adult have total of 52 badges to achieve with 12 basic badge and also have 12 basic awards to achieve.

Mikoko Development Foundation each year will organize 1 National, 31 Regional and 189 District Nature & Environmental Youth Camp and one International Nature & Environmental Youth Camp and provide total of 1,340 badges and 740 Awards at District and Regional Level with the best 6 National Award on STEAM creativity and innovation.
